Located right on the beach along Noosa Sound, the apartment boasts a picturesque winter setting with beautiful blue skies and clear waters. Originally a tired, one-bedroom space, everything was in the right spot but worn down. The transformation involved completely plastering over old features like painted brick walls, stipple ceilings, and blocked structures, resulting in a beautiful flat ceiling and refreshed walls with render, Gip Rock, and micro cement.
The strategic approach meant no need to change the locations of power points, plumbing, and other main elements, which worked in favor of the renovation. By completely gutting the interiors and starting from scratch, the result is a stunning, inviting space.
The goal was to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. Guests are invited to kick off their shoes and walk across beautiful Oak Timber flooring. Art on the walls features carefully chosen colors that resonate throughout the styling, including the olive tree and green bouey lounge. The space, although small, feels cozy with the use of chalky whites and warm oaky timbers. Smoked bronze and gold accents add warmth and contrast to the main living space, drawing inspiration from the Italian Riviera.
In a one-bedroom apartment, maximizing space and functionality is crucial. Custom pieces were designed to ensure the space looks good and makes sense.
