The owners envisioned a warm, inviting space that embraced a cozy vibe while making the most of the limited square footage.
Thoughtful Design Choices
To achieve this vision, we introduced rich walnut cabinetry, adding warmth and depth to the interiors. The cabinetry not only provides ample storage but also serves as a statement piece that contrasts beautifully with the light, airy surroundings. Complementing this, we opted for earthy sandstone look tile, which brings a natural, coastal feel to the space while ensuring durability and easy maintenance—perfect for beachside living.
Modern lighting played a crucial role in enhancing the ambiance, with a mix of warm-toned feature lights and discreet downlights strategically placed to highlight key areas without overwhelming the space.
Smart Space Planning
With a compact layout, every design decision had to be carefully considered. We collaborated with CLO, a styling expert, to ensure that every element in the unit served a purpose while maintaining an open and airy feel. From furniture placement to color selection, the goal was to create a functional and inviting home.
One of the standout solutions was the installation of a custom-built in-seat with plush cushioning, replacing the need for a bulky couch. A traditional sofa would have consumed too much space, but this bespoke seating solution provides comfort while enhancing the sense of openness in the living area.

The renovation extended beyond aesthetics—practical updates were also a key focus. We improved the unit’s insulation, upgraded electrical fixtures to energy-efficient options, and modernized the kitchen and bathroom with sleek, space-saving fixtures.
